FAQ’s
1. What is the time commitment? The time commitment for the connection relationships varies. AUC Connect is designed to provide you with a database that you can engage in brief, “flash” relationships. Once you have established guidelines and expectations with your matched alumnus/alumna, your relationship may last long term or you may have just have one impactful conversation.
2. What if I have a troubling conversation with an alumnus/alumna or encounter an issue? You can reach out to alumni@aucmed.edu and the Office of Alumni Relations will follow up with you.
3. What do I talk about with my alumni matches? Start by sharing your goals and your interest in learning from this individual and be specific in the type of advice or guidance you are looking for. Our alumni vary in specialty and profiles so utilize the filters within the database to find alumni that will be the best fit for your needs. Remember, to always keep your conversation professional and appropriate.
4. What if the alumnus/alumna cannot answer my question or help in the way I need? Alumni are not expected to have all the answers, or be the experts in all topics.
